Park, Old Montreal, 2004 by DaveR99 Park, Old Montreal, 2004 by DaveR99
A park in the Old City of Montreal, near Place Jacques Cartier, photographed on a freezing cold night in February 2004.

Sorry that I've not been posting here for quite a while, but I've been busy working on other things - mostly my blog: [link] . I'll try to post photos a bit more often from now on.

Dave

Wonderful mood and atmosphere in this image. Montreal is a gorgeous city - I know exactly where this is - great shot.

Thanks, Greg.

This was not an easy photo to make. I had to walk into snow drifts that were thigh high on me and then plant my tripod in that snow. I had to stand there for some time setting up and finally my toes were absolutely freezing in my boots!

Thanks, Thule. The photo was made on BW film which was then scanned and slightly modified for contrast.
